Calendula Ointment

Ok experiment #1 is finally made up… i know i’m slow. this has calendula infused olive oil, olive butter, beeswax, and vitamin E. it says it is great for bug bites, stings, cuts, burns. but calendula has healing properties and is good for psorasis and exzema. and the olive butter which i subsituted for cocoa butter because cocoa butter can be clogging, is a very good moisturizer. and since my son is gonna be in the desert i figure that might be good. i also used the calendula oil on my baby’s bottom when she had an reaction to something she ate and it gave her the runs and her bottom became raw in a matter of minutes. and it cleared it up really fast. faster than A&D ointment!
on to try something else!!!

later… experiment #2…should i be calling them experiments???!!! LOL

here is some Ultra Hand and Body cream.
it has olive oil, grapeseed oil, wheat germ oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, beeswax, water, vegetable glcyerin, vitamin E, lavender EO..
its a little greasy but not really to the touch it just shiny. i added the Lavender EO cause i hate the smell of olive oil but i don’t think it made much difference. so i’m gonna send both of these to my son down in Mississippi hopefully tomorrow if not saturday. so now i am waiting on some lye. hopefully this place my husband found locally will have it. i bought some on ebay but i would rather have somewhere local that i can get it. i’m going to make some Olive oil Soap with Dead Sea Salt.
